Pass Drivers Ed Course
You are here!
Complete the 32 hour teen drivers ed course in no less than 16 days (Texas law only allows 2 hours of study per day) and we'll issue your course completion certificate right away
Pass Written Test
Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Take Driving Lessons
Take 14 hours of professional driving instruction comprised of 7 driving hours and 7 observation hours (we offer those, too!) + complete 30 hours of additional driving practice to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course
Pass Driving Test
Pass your behind-the-wheel test at the DPS to earn your license!

This course is intended for new drivers aged 14-17 who wish to learn to drive in Texas. It walks you through all aspects of driving in America and on Nevada's unique roads. If you're looking to get started behind the wheel, you've come to the right place.

Can I take the course on my phone?
Instead of spending the 30 hours it takes to complete the driver's ed course in a classroom, you can take it online. Better yet, with Coastline Academy you can do the entire course on your phone. Are there practice tests?
Yes! Every section ends with a practice test that you can take as many times as you need. We also have a mock test at the end that is just like the one you will take at the DMV.
