Updated June 15, 2021: This article is now out of date. We are no longer requiring our instructors to self-certify before lessons. Other safety protocols are still in place to ensure the safest possible environment for our students and instructors.

To ensure the safety of all of our students, instructors and members of our communities, and based on recommendations from the CDC, WHO and local authorities, we have put in place a set of guidelines for all students and instructors participating in driving lessons.

Instructors are required to confirm the following, before they go out to teach each day

  1. Before returning to work, instructors should confirm that they have successfully been following the stay at home order for 14 consecutive days, ahead of their first day teaching.
  2. We ask instructors to confirm that they have practiced and are comfortable wearing a mask while teaching.
  3. Instructors are required to take their own temperature each morning they are teaching lessons, to confirm that they don’t have an elevated temperature, and will reschedule all lessons if they register a temperature above the CDC's recommended threshold.
  4. Lastly, instructors must confirm they won’t wear the same clothes that they might have recently worn on another day of teaching, or while visiting the grocery store, pharmacy or on any errand that involved entering a building other than their own home.

All students and instructors are required to wear a mask for the duration of the lesson.

We want to thank you for helping us keep each other safe in these unprecedented times. And as always, if you have any questions, please reach out to our friendly support staff.
