Driver's Ed In Nevada

Before getting started with Drivers Ed in Nevada, there is a two-step process you need to follow. If you are under the age of 18, the first step would be to provide the DMV with proof that you meet the minimum school attendance requirements. This can be done by submitting the information needed via the Certificate of Attendance (DMV 301). Before submitting the form, make sure to have an authoritative figure (school principal, parent, or guardian) sign off on it.

After you submit that form, new drivers in Nevada can enroll in a driver's education course once they turn 15 years old! This course must include 30 hours of classroom instruction. For these courses, they can be done at public or private high schools, DMV-licensed professional driving schools, or state-approved online courses. You will receive a certificate of completion once you have completed the course, which you will need to show the DMV office when applying for your license. Also, before enrolling in any driving school, make sure they are state-approved!
