Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.
Take your Road Test & Get your Junior License
After holding your permit for at least 6 months, you can take your road test. Want to skip the line at PENNDOT? Take your test with us!

Driving lessons in Amity Gardens provide an ideal start for new drivers, nestled within the community of Berks County. The local residential streets offer a calm environment perfect for mastering core skills like steering and braking without the pressure of heavy traffic. This setting allows students to build a solid foundation of confidence before progressing to more challenging driving conditions.
As skills grow, training incorporates major routes like the US-422 expressway, which is essential for learning to merge and manage higher speeds. Practice drives toward nearby hubs such as Pottstown and Reading introduce learners to dynamic traffic patterns and complex intersections, preparing them for the variety of situations they will encounter on the road.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
Our goal is to equip every student with the defensive driving techniques and practical knowledge needed for a lifetime of safe travel, building the real-world skills and confidence to handle local roads and any driving challenge that lies ahead.
