Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.
Take your Road Test & Get your Junior License
After holding your permit for at least 6 months, you can take your road test. Want to skip the line at PENNDOT? Take your test with us!

Driving lessons in Evansburg provide an ideal environment for building core skills from the ground up. New drivers can comfortably master the fundamentals of vehicle control, steering, and navigating intersections on quiet residential roads. This foundational practice in a lower-traffic setting builds the confidence needed to safely progress to more complex driving situations and busier roadways.
Once a student is comfortable, lessons will expand to include major routes like US-422, offering critical experience with merging, lane changes, and maintaining safe following distances at higher speeds. Practicing routes toward nearby Collegeville and Norristown helps learners adapt to different traffic patterns, preparing them for a variety of real-world driving scenarios they will encounter daily.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
Our professional instructors focus on translating these lessons into lasting, safe driving habits. The goal is to equip every student with the defensive driving skills and practical knowledge needed to navigate the roads with confidence long after they complete their training.
