Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.
Take your Road Test & Get your Junior License
After holding your permit for at least 6 months, you can take your road test. Want to skip the line at PENNDOT? Take your test with us!

Driving lessons in Spring City provide a great setting to build core driving skills. Our instructors focus on developing your confidence on the borough's quieter residential streets, where you can safely master vehicle control, proper turning techniques, and navigating intersections. As your skills advance, you'll gain experience on main local roads like PA-724. Practicing routes across the Schuylkill River to Royersford prepares you for bridge crossings and adapting to different traffic patterns. These exercises are key to developing the judgment needed for future trips into Phoenixville or other destinations throughout Chester County.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
