Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.
Take your Road Test & Get your Junior License
After holding your permit for at least 6 months, you can take your road test. Want to skip the line at PENNDOT? Take your test with us!

Driving lessons in Willow Grove are designed to build a strong foundation of essential skills in a varied environment. Initial practice on quiet residential streets allows new drivers to master vehicle control, turning, and parking without pressure. As confidence grows, lessons progress to navigating busier commercial zones and complex intersections, providing a gradual introduction to more demanding traffic scenarios and preparing students for real-world driving challenges.
This practical experience is reinforced on key local routes like PA-611, where students learn to manage multi-lane traffic and anticipate the actions of other drivers. These skills are crucial for safely merging onto major highways such as I-276 and for making future trips to nearby communities like Abington or Horsham. This approach ensures learners are prepared for both local errands and regional travel.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.

We focus on developing the defensive driving techniques and situational awareness needed for a lifetime of safe travel, turning instructional hours into practical, everyday capability behind the wheel.
