Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.
Take your Road Test & Get your Junior License
After holding your permit for at least 6 months, you can take your road test. Want to skip the line at PENNDOT? Take your test with us!

Located within Montgomery County, this community provides a balanced learning environment featuring quiet residential neighborhoods and winding local roads. As learners gain confidence, lessons expand to include major thoroughfares like PA-73 and US-202. Navigating these busier routes is key to developing skills in lane management and anticipating other drivers. Practice drives toward nearby Ambler or Norristown expose students to varied traffic densities and intersections, preparing them for diverse conditions throughout the region.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
