Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.

Driving lessons in East Greenville focus on building essential skills in a comfortable setting. Students first learn to handle a vehicle with confidence on the borough's quiet residential roads, perfecting steering, braking, and scanning for hazards. As they progress, they will practice navigating local intersections and managing traffic flow along Main Street, establishing a strong foundation for more complex driving scenarios.
Once the fundamentals are solid, lessons expand to include routes like PA-29. This hands-on experience teaches students how to handle steady traffic and higher speeds safely. Practicing these skills on trips toward neighboring towns like Pennsburg helps learners understand how to adapt to different road conditions and prepares them for independent travel throughout the region.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
