Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.
Take your Road Test & Get your Junior License
After holding your permit for at least 6 months, you can take your road test. Want to skip the line at PENNDOT? Take your test with us!

Driving lessons in Paoli are designed to build a strong foundation of essential skills in a varied environment. Students first practice on quiet residential streets to comfortably master vehicle control, turning, and parking. As confidence grows, lessons progress to navigating the busier traffic along Lancaster Pike, teaching how to handle multi-lane roads and complex intersections. This gradual approach ensures a comprehensive learning experience, preparing new drivers for the realities of the road.
Practicing on local routes like US-30 provides excellent preparation for real-world driving. This experience helps students manage traffic flow and time lane changes safely. Mastering these skills is essential for making trips to nearby towns like Wayne, and provides the competence for eventually navigating the entire Delaware Valley region with confidence.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
