Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.

Driving lessons in Newtown Grant provide an excellent setting to develop core competencies. Students begin in quiet residential neighborhoods, mastering fundamentals like smooth acceleration, braking, and handling intersections. This calm environment is ideal for building confidence while practicing parking and other essential maneuvers before tackling busier traffic.
As skills progress, lessons transition to busier local routes like the Newtown Bypass (PA-332) and I-295. This is vital for learning to merge safely, manage speed, and navigate flowing traffic. Applying these skills on drives toward nearby Yardley prepares students for the various road conditions they will encounter.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
