Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.
Take your Road Test & Get your Junior License
After holding your permit for at least 6 months, you can take your road test. Want to skip the line at PENNDOT? Take your test with us!

Driving lessons in Perkasie provide an ideal setting to build essential skills from the ground up. The borough's quiet residential streets offer a calm environment to master vehicle control, practice smooth braking and accelerating, and navigate neighborhood intersections safely. This initial experience is key to developing the confidence needed before tackling roads with more complex traffic patterns.
As skills grow, students will practice on key local routes like PA-313, learning to handle moderate traffic flow and multi-lane roads. This practical experience prepares them for navigating to nearby towns like Sellersville or Quakertown, exposing them to different types of intersections and building the awareness needed for regional travel. These lessons are designed to create a well-rounded, capable driver.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
Our primary goal is to empower each student with the defensive driving techniques and sound judgment required for a lifetime of safe travel. We focus on translating instruction into real-world confidence, ensuring every driver is prepared for the road ahead.
