Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Hutto are structured to build a strong foundation of essential skills. Students begin in quiet residential areas to master core maneuvers like steering and braking without pressure. This initial practice builds the confidence needed to progress to busier local streets, where they learn to interact safely with other vehicles and pedestrians.
As competence grows, lessons transition to major routes like US-79. Here, students gain crucial experience with merging and changing lanes at higher speeds. Practicing these skills on routes toward nearby Round Rock prepares them for the practical demands of daily commutes and prepares them to drive confidently throughout the region.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
Our goal is to transform structured lessons into real-world confidence. We focus on equipping every student with the defensive driving techniques and sound judgment needed for a lifetime of safe travel, turning them into capable and aware drivers.
