Pass Drivers Ed Course
Complete the 32 hour drivers ed course in no less than 16 days (Texas law only allows 2 hours of study per day) and we'll issue your course completion certificate right away
Pass Written Test
Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Katy provide an ideal environment for building core skills. Students start in calm residential neighborhoods, mastering maneuvers like smooth acceleration, braking, and navigating intersections. This setting helps learners build confidence before progressing to more dynamic traffic situations found along the area's busy commercial corridors.
As skills develop, lessons incorporate practice on major thoroughfares like I-10. This is key to learning how to safely merge, maintain speed, and navigate multi-lane traffic. Applying these skills on routes toward nearby communities like Fulshear or Cypress helps students understand how to adapt to varying road conditions and prepare for regional travel.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
