Complete the 24 hour teen drivers ed course in no less than 16 days (Texas law only allows 2 hours of study per day) and we'll issue your course completion certificate right away
Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and receive your learner's permit
Take 14 hours of professional driving instruction comprised of 7 driving hours and 7 observation hours (we offer those, too!) + complete 30 hours of additional driving practice to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course
Whether it's your first time behind the wheel or you need a brush up before your test, we offer driving education that will make you a safer, more confident driver for life.
Driving lessons in Lake Dunlap focus on building essential skills in a calm setting. The local roads are perfect for mastering foundational techniques like steering, speed control, and navigating intersections. This initial practice builds a student's confidence, establishing a solid base before progressing to more challenging traffic environments.
Once comfortable, students will practice on major routes like I-35, learning to merge and manage highway speeds. This experience is key for preparing for trips to nearby New Braunfels or Seguin, exposing them to real-world conditions and teaching them to anticipate the actions of other drivers on busy roadways.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
