Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course

Driving lessons in Richland Hills are designed to build a strong foundation of skills in a varied suburban environment. Students begin by mastering fundamental maneuvers like smooth acceleration, braking, and turning on quiet residential streets. This controlled setting helps build confidence before moving on to manage traffic on busier local roads. The focus is on developing keen awareness and the core competencies needed for safe, independent driving in a variety of common situations.
As confidence grows, lessons progress to include navigating major routes like I-820 and the Airport Freeway (TX-183). Practicing merging, lane changes, and maintaining consistent speeds in heavier traffic is essential preparation for real-world conditions. This experience prepares drivers for trips to nearby North Richland Hills or Haltom City, ensuring they are comfortable with the dynamics of the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
