Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Taylor provide the perfect setting to build essential skills for a lifetime of safe driving. Students begin in calm residential neighborhoods, mastering fundamental controls like steering, braking, and understanding traffic signs. This foundational practice is key to developing the confidence needed to handle the varied driving environments found throughout the area.
Once the basics are comfortable, lessons progress to busier roads like US-79. Navigating this key route helps students learn how to manage higher speeds, interact with different types of vehicles, and prepare for trips to nearby communities like Hutto. This practical experience is invaluable for developing defensive driving habits and spatial awareness in moderate traffic.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
Our ultimate aim is to transform instruction into independent, confident driving. The skills learned and practiced during lessons are designed to be directly applicable to everyday travel, ensuring each new driver is well-prepared for the road ahead.
