Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Wells Branch focus on building core skills in a comfortable, suburban setting. Students begin by mastering fundamental maneuvers like steering, braking, and parking on quiet residential streets. This controlled environment allows for building confidence before progressing to busier local roads and more complex intersections found throughout the community.
As abilities grow, lessons transition to handling major thoroughfares like I-35, providing essential experience with merging, managing higher speeds, and navigating lane changes. Practicing these skills on routes toward nearby Round Rock or Austin prepares new drivers for the varied traffic conditions they will encounter daily, ensuring they are well-equipped for independent driving.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
