Pass written test at PENNDOT
Before you can take your written test at PENNDOT, you'll need to be 16 years old. Pass your test to receive your Learner's Permit.
Take driving lessons
While optional in Pennsylvania, we highly recommend taking at least one driving lesson with a professional instructor.
Log your practice hours
Before you can take your road test, you must log 65 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours at night and five (5) hours of bad weather driving.
Take your Road Test & Get your Junior License
After holding your permit for at least 6 months, you can take your road test. Want to skip the line at PENNDOT? Take your test with us!

Driving lessons in Maple Glen provide a fantastic opportunity to build core driving skills in a varied suburban environment. Students first master fundamental maneuvers like steering, braking, and parking on quiet residential streets. This controlled setting is ideal for building the confidence needed to handle busier local intersections and navigate different traffic flows safely, preparing them for a wide range of road conditions.
As comfort and skill increase, lessons progress to include practice on key local arteries like PA-63 and PA-152. This experience is invaluable for learning to manage lane changes and anticipate the actions of other drivers in moderately busy traffic. Mastering these routes prepares drivers for future trips to nearby towns such as Ambler and Horsham, turning instruction into practical, independent mobility.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
