Use this guide to make sure you are in the right place in your licensing journey.
Complete the 24 hour teen drivers ed course in no less than 6 days (Texas law only allows 4 hours of study per day) and we'll issue your course completion certificate right away
Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and receive your learner's permit
Take 14 hours of professional driving instruction comprised of 7 driving hours and 7 observation hours (we offer those, too!) + complete 30 hours of additional driving practice to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Brazoria offer a fantastic opportunity to build core skills in a calm setting. Students master fundamental controls on quiet residential streets, learning to handle local intersections with confidence. This environment allows for focused practice on vehicle positioning, speed management, and scanning for hazards. The approach ensures each student is comfortable behind the wheel before progressing to busier roads, creating a solid foundation for safe driving.
Once basics are solid, lessons advance to include practice on local routes like TX-36. This introduces students to managing higher speeds and different traffic types. These skills are directly applicable for trips to nearby cities such as Angleton, preparing learners to safely navigate varied road conditions. This gradual exposure builds the experience needed for driving independently throughout the area and beyond.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which are shown once you start searching availability.
