Pass Drivers Ed Course
Complete the 32 hour drivers ed course in no less than 16 days (Texas law only allows 2 hours of study per day) and we'll issue your course completion certificate right away
Pass Written Test
Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Fairchilds offer a perfect environment to build core skills with minimal pressure. The quiet, rural roads are ideal for mastering vehicle control, from smooth acceleration and braking to precise steering and positioning on two-lane roads. This calm setting allows new drivers to develop confidence and foundational habits, such as situational awareness and scanning for potential hazards, before progressing to more challenging traffic scenarios.
As students become more comfortable, they will gain practical experience on key local routes like TX-36. This training is crucial for learning to safely manage higher speeds and navigate different types of intersections. Practice drives toward nearby Needville or Rosenberg introduce learners to moderate traffic flow, preparing them for the variety of driving situations they will encounter as licensed drivers throughout the greater region.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
