Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit

Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course

Driving lessons in Oak Ridge are designed to build a strong foundation of essential skills. In quiet residential areas, students master core maneuvers like smooth acceleration and braking, establishing comfort behind the wheel. As confidence grows, lessons shift to busier local roads to practice lane discipline and intersection awareness, creating a solid base for safe driving.
Practical experience on major routes like I-45 is crucial for building real world capability. These lessons focus on key skills like merging safely and managing freeway speeds. This experience prepares students for trips to nearby communities like The Woodlands and Shenandoah, equipping them to handle a variety of common driving environments.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
