Pass Drivers Ed Course
Complete the 32 hour drivers ed course in no less than 16 days (Texas law only allows 2 hours of study per day) and we'll issue your course completion certificate right away
Pass Written Test
Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Shady Shores are designed to build a strong foundation of skills in a supportive setting. The town's quiet streets are perfect for mastering fundamentals like smooth acceleration, braking, and steering. Students practice navigating local intersections and develop awareness in a low-traffic area, building a solid base of confidence before advancing to busier roads.
As skills develop, students will apply their knowledge on major routes like I-35E. This experience is vital for learning to safely merge, manage higher speeds, and navigate the flow of traffic. Practicing these routes on trips toward nearby Denton exposes learners to more complex road systems, preparing them for the diverse challenges of everyday driving.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
Our goal is to equip every student with the defensive driving skills and confidence needed for a lifetime of safe travel. We focus on turning lessons into practical ability, ensuring each new driver is prepared for the road ahead.
