Pass Written Test
Bring your completion certificate to the DPS and pass your written test to receive your learner's permit
Complete Behind-the Wheel Training
Complete 44 hours of parent-led behind-the-wheel training to receive your behind-the-wheel completion certificate
Complete ITTD Course
Complete the state required Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Course

Driving lessons in Uhland provide an excellent environment to build core driving skills. The quiet local roads are perfect for mastering fundamentals like smooth steering and braking without the pressure of heavy congestion. This calm setting allows students to develop strong observational habits and build a solid foundation of confidence behind the wheel, focusing on one skill at a time before moving to more complex scenarios.
As students become more comfortable, they will practice on key routes like TX-21. This experience is vital for learning to manage higher speeds and navigate the flow of regional traffic. These skills are directly applicable for future drives to nearby destinations such as Kyle or Lockhart, preparing students for typical travel in the region and building their experience for a variety of road types.
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off at home, school, or work when available. To accommodate various schedules, some lessons may begin at convenient meeting points in the area, which will be shown once you start searching availability.
Our goal is to translate lessons into lasting ability. We focus on instilling the defensive driving mindset and practical skills necessary for a lifetime of safe, confident navigation on any road.
