If you are between 15 and 17½ years old, you must pass a state-approved Drivers Ed course and receive your completion certificate before taking your written test at the DMV.
Once you have your completion certificate, it is time to practice! Take our practice test questions to ace your exam on the first try!

Taking driving lessons in Orinda provides a unique and calm setting to learn the fundamentals of safe driving. Students will also practice driving on major routes like CA-24, learning to merge and manage higher speeds safely. This prepares them for drives toward nearby Lafayette or Berkeley and the diverse traffic situations found throughout Contra Costa County.
